RP&A offers a broad range of services that focus on how buildings perform.
As a long-time participant and contributor, Rob is an advocate of the Log Homes Council, presenting on their behalf and acting as Technical Consultant. Activities for the Log Homes Council include:

• Acting chair of the IS-LOG Committee which is responsible for ICC400 Standard on the Design & Construction of Log Structures. Released for purchase from ICC in June 2007, copies can be ordered online at: www.iccsafe.org/cs/standards/is-log

• Log grading involvement beginning with the initial development of the program and Training Manual, including the first training sessions in Albany, NY, Missoula, MT, and Knoxville, TN in 1984) and continuing today performing independent third-party inspections.

• Editorial services resulting in a collection of technical papers that can be viewed online at www.loghomes.org, then go to the Log Homes Library.

• The Dept. of Energy Training Program: Log Homes in REScheck webcast; and Cracker Barrel sessions of the National Workshop on State Energy Building Codes (2005-2007)

• Builder Educational Program at the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders’ Show (2000-2007)
